Phil Keaggy "Acoustic Guitar Style"

Phil Keaggy Phil Keaggy has always been a favorite at Olson guitars. In 1984, Phil ordered and received the very first "cedar" top Olson guitar ever made. It is featured in these clips from Phil's (still available) 1991, "Acoustic Guitar Style" instructional video. In this video Phil not only performs favorites but then slows them down while he explains technique and "tunings"

Way Back Home

Phil Keaggy This is a great historical documentary! A bonus track on "Philly Live". Dave Eastburn shot this "home video" at Phil's childhood home near the water pump that severed Phil's finger when he was just four years old!. Phil describes the accident and then, sitting by the pump, he sings the song "Way Back Home" reminiscing the moment.

Phil Keaggy "Live" St. Charles IL.

Phil Keaggy Phil Keaggy In Concert.
March 20th 2004. This performance in St. Charles Illinois was captured by Phil's older brother Dave Keaggy and put on DVD as Phil Keaggy "Live" St. Charles IL. Phil is a master at "looping" or recording as he plays, and then playing along with it. Salvation Army Band is a perfect example of Phil's expertise with the "gadgets". You will even see him singing his own harmony! Warning, this is a large file!
