Filmed March 4th,2006 in Boulder Colorado, the DVD "Live Looping In The House" is labled a One-Man Afrograss Folk Rock Ensemble. Arthur uses "Looping" techniques in his live perfomances to create an amazing "One-Man Band". His Olson Maple Jumbo dates back to 1985. Here is a sampling from the DVD. Phil Keaggy "Live"
March 20th 2004. Phil Keaggy"s performance in St. Charles Illinois, was recorded by Phil's older brother Dave Keaggy. Phil is a master at "looping" or recording as he plays, and then playing along with it. Salvation Army Band is a perfect example of Phil's expertise with the "gadgets". You will even see him singing his own harmony! Warning, this is a large file!

Leo Kottke made a television apearance with his Olson SJ on the popular PBS series "Austin City Limits". It was recorded back in August of 1992 and
premiered season 18 of 1993.
Kottke performed 6 songs using his Olson SJ and 2 songs with his signature Taylor 12 string guitar.

Chet Atkins on an Olson!
May 1996. Chet Atkins performed on an Olson guitar on a broadcast of
The Nashville Network's Prime Time Country show.
He played his famous solo acoustic arrangement of Don Maclean's "Vincent."
Chet borrowed the guitar from Mark Thompson of The Judds for this special
performance.

Phil Keaggy "Acoustic Guitar Style"

Phil Keaggy has always been a favorite at Olson guitars. In 1984, Phil ordered and received the very first "cedar" top Olson guitar ever made. It is featured in these clips from Phil's (still available) 1991, "Acoustic Guitar Style" instructional video. The first is "County Down" from the 1991 CD "Beyond Nature". The second is an abbreviated complilation of "Castles Call/Pilgrim's Flight" from the 1978 album "The Master and The Musician". July 16, 1993. "Evening at Pops" was broadcast on PBS with James Taylor performing with the Boston Pops Orchestra, conducted by John Williams. Before singing "Copperline" James introduced his father Isaac who was in the audience that evening.

Leo Kottke on "Texas Connection"

Filmed in 1993, "Guitar Ace" Leo Kottke appeared on the "Texas Connection" television broadcast. Shown here are his performances of "Last Steam Engine Train" and "Oddball". For those "techies", you might notice that Leo has no "sunrise" pick up in the sound hole for this appearance.

Bill Cooley performs "Myrtle"
1996. Bill Cooley recorded this for the video "Modern Luthier" narrated by Will Ackerman and featuring four luthiers including Jim Olson. Perhaps best known as Kathy Mattea's lead guitarist, Bill has also recorded two acoustic CD of his own. "Myrtle" is from his CD titled Unravel'd . The guitar in this recording was on loan from Kathy Mattea.

The Moody Blues
Sept 9, 1992. Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues used his Olson SJ cut-away to perform "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon" with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Filmed at the famed "Red Rocks" ampitheater in Colorado. "A Night at Red Rocks" was first broadcast on PBS. It is still available on DVD.

David Wilcox on The Late Show with Conan O'Brien
May 31, 1994. David Wilcox performed "New World" from his CD "Big Horizon". David was accompanied by Conan's Late Night Band complete with background singers.
James Taylor sings "Fire and Rain" at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony
March 6, 2000. James Taylor was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the 15th annual induction dinner. Paul McCartney was his presenter. He received an enthusiastic standing ovation for his performance of Fire and Rain.
Jim Cole on "Prime Time Country"
Christian recording Artist Jim Cole performed this version of "Leap of Faith" on the TNN "Prime Time Country" television show. Jim also performed the song "Shepherd of All Who Wander".
