Custom Instruments

For a set price of $12,500, Jim will accomodate most requests. The current wait time for custom orders is approximately 9 months. This price includes your choice of a wide variety of optional woods and appointments, including abalone treatments. Premium options, such as Brazilian rosewood, or highly customized inlays could add to the cost. Available Instruments

It is Jim's hope to produce a number of guitars made to his liking, using options and woods that satisfy his creative imagination. These "spec" guitars would then be offered for sale on the Available Instruments page. It is also possible that from time to time a "used" Olson may show up for sale. Check here to see if anything is currently available.

James Taylor Signature Models

Jim is still currently accepting orders for James Taylor Signature Model guitars. He will continue to accept orders until this Limited Edition line of 100 instruments is sold (the Brazilian rosewood edition is already sold out). Placing Your Order

Please contact Jim directly by phone if you are interested placing an order. A 25% down payment secures your place in the order queue with the balance due on delivery. The full cost (minus delivery charges) is refundable ( within a 2 day approval period ) if you are dissatisfied for any reason with your instrument.
